Excellent opportunities exist for Senior Project Controls Managers on a £Billion+ project. Your experience on similar projects within the civil engineering sector whilst reporting to the Project Director is sought after.
Duties/responsibilities for this role include –
- Creating and managing the project controls for the project which include the cost estimates, budgets, baseline program, financial reports and risk management
- Monthly reporting of the above to the Project Directors
- Challenging, advising and producing solutions to achieve the project deliverables
- Create and perform audits on daily control activities
- Directly involved in contract negotiations, bids and estimates
- Managing of staff and their performances
Requirement for this post include the following -
- Preferably a Civil Engineer degree
- Extensive previous experience in a similar position for a tier one contractor
- Extensive experience at a high level on a large multidisciplinary project
- Experience in seeing a project through from cradle to grave
- Expert competence in P6
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Member of APMP is desirable
