The Federal Government has pledged a significant increase in infrastructure spending as we came out of the global pandemic in Australia. This will be an exciting couple of years coming up in the Civil Construction Industry on the east coast, specifically, Melbourne. We are looking for dedicated Project Engineers to join our client on major projects in the new year. There is Visa Sponsorship available for the right candidate if they are looking for a long term move to Australia.
Typical duties are:
- Liaising with the project team to ensure safe, timely delivery of a quality project
- Planning, management and monitoring the construction of the works to an acceptable level of quality
- Under direction, preparing and implementing inspection test plans (ITPs)
- Writing and Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Subcontractor Management
Requirements
- Proven track records as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer.
- Heavy civils experience is required and motorways experience is desired.
- Have experience and competent in quality assurance and writing method statements and risk assessments
- Excellent attitude towards health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes, embedding this commitment in everything you do
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
