Project Engineer
Location: Darwin
Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented Project Engineer with experience in Fit Out or New Build construction projects. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of various construction ventures. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans and timelines.
- Manage all aspects of project execution, including procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve any issues that arise, and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, as well as adherence to project schedules.
- Implement and maintain effective project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and other relevant records.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and any changes in scope.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
Requirements:
- Must have RTW in Australia – no 417 visa applications.
- Experience Fit Out or New Build projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
