Job Title: Project Engineer - FIFO
Location: Fly In – Fly Out to remote parts of NT & QLD. Live in any capital city in Australia.
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the technical success of projects, contributing to the growth and success of our company. They must also be willing to work on a FIFO roster.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to assist in the planning, execution, and completion of projects.
- Assist in the development and review of project plans, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal team members.
- Provide technical guidance and support to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Qualifications:
- Must have a degree.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer with a focus on heavy civils projects.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy civil engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, permitting processes, and safety standards.
- Strong project management skills and proficiency in project management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving project scopes and timelines.
