An excellent, inside IR35, opportunity exist for a Piling Project Engineer proficient in the management and compilation of QA documents and permits including hand back documents as completed on civil engineering/highway projects. Experience in QA, TW and permits is sought.
Duties will include –
- Supports the Quality Manager to promote the systems of Quality Control on the project, encouraging a positive quality culture.
- Assist in the preparation of a list of Management System Documentation applicable to the project and keep this up to date as the project progresses.
- Ensure all required test have been completed and recorded
- Conduct regular audits , manage test plans and check sheets
- Maintain the project NCR and defects registers, ensure they are kept up to date and that NCRs / defects are submitted
- Compile handover files
The requirements for this post include –
- Preferably a civil engineering qualification or extensive experience on civil engineering projects
- Preferably piling experience. Previous piling contractor experience advantageous
- Have sound knowledge and experience of British Standards and codes for Civil Engineering construction
- Experience managing the recording and flow of documents
- CSCS, First aid, highways safety critical medical
