My client, who is a market leader in the demolition and decommissioning of large structural steel elements, is seeking to employ an experienced Destruct Project Engineer to join the team.

Your responsibilities will include -

  • Produce works programmes and manage the work flow.
  • Plan and monitor compliance and regulatory requirements and commercial activities.
  • Implement sub-contractors and programmes whilst ensuring costs are maintained.
  • Interface with purchasing department.
  • Maximise the effectiveness and utilisation of resources and plant.
  • Ensure the environment and safety performance are clearly and concisely recorded.
  • Carry out detailed method statements and risk assessments.
  • Assist with all site audits and inspections.
  • Assist with all monthly and weekly meetings.

Requirements

  • Form part of the infrastructure between the Director, Project Manager, Site Supervisors and the Workforce ensuring compliance with the groups integrated management systems and procedures.
  • Ensure all costs in the relevant projects are kept under control and in line with the budget/target.
  • Work to deliver demolition/destruction projects, safety within budget and set timelines.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Civil/Mechanical engineering qualifications.
  • Must be competent and have suitable experience in the field of structural steel construction and dismantling.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the elements of structural steel design
  • Suitable experience in developing programmes under Project, FastTrack or similar.
