Project Manager (Infrastructure)

My client, a well-known contractor involved in some of the biggest projects in the UK is looking to bring a Project Manager on board to work on a large infrastructure project in the Buckinghamshire and Warwickshire areas. 

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage the project team and supply chain to deliver projects to time, cost, and quality targets and standards.
  • Report periodically to Senior Management on project progress, risks and issues using robust reporting systems to meet the needs of the business
  • Provide direction, motivation and leadership to both internal staff and partner contractors engaged in providing technical support activities to the project
  • Responsible for all safety, health, environment and quality matters including driving excellence and championing continuous improvement
  • Management of pre-construction/production phase including exposure to new roads, motorway widening, drainage, safety improvements, parking & traffic calming and junction improvements

You will have:

  • Project Management experience within civils & highways projects
  • An Engineering Degree and an SMSTS certificate
  • The ability to communicate effectively is required to manage customer relationships, in addition to strong planning and organisation skills to deliver operational excellence and efficiency
  • NEC contract type experience
  • Financial awareness and ability to deliver targets, with a desire to continuously improve safety and sustainability performance
  • Degree or Equivalent in Civil Engineering
