Carmichael are seeking an experinced Utilities Project Manager to join the team on a major Infrastructure project based in Buckinghamshire.
You will be working on one the highest profile schemes in the UK delivering HS2. We are looking for an Utility Project Manager to join the team, to deliver multiple projects within budget and timescales, whilst complying with Health, Safety and Environment. You will be completing documentation to get contract to site and then delivering utility diversions project schemes including water, gas, electric and communications assets. You will manage the project team and represent the companyat the client meetings.
Manage the day to day site operations on site, ability to write RAMS/WPPs, documentation for ITP’s. Be aware of the surrounding works/contractors and the co-ordination of all parties re the planned works. Ability to complete the required daily records for works completed on site each day and note all programme delays, attendees, raise with the commercial team any changes/ issues re the contracted works. Attend weekly progress meetings with the client, represent the client positively with the client team overall. Update information re the programme to the programme team. Overall responsibility for the works on site.
Manage and ensure ITPs are agreed and completed accordingly.
What do we need from you?
To be successful, you will hold experience within the utility industry and have previously undertaken a similar role in delivering multiple utilities, at least two of the following - water, gas, electrical and communications. You will have excellent organisation and logistics skills and a good understanding and knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations. You will need to be technically capable and will be responsible for the site teams.

We will need you to be experienced in completing the following tasks:
- Understanding of utility projects
- Management of Health and Safety on site
- Ability to manage staff, sub-contractors and suppliers
- Delivery of works on site in a safe productive manner
- Awareness for project costs
- Management of appointed specialist subcontractors etc. is being carried out to specification and programme
