Here at Carmichael I am looking to recruit for an experienced Project Manger to join a global and very reputable company who have been chosen to work as a main contractor on a very prestigious project based in Chester.
The Person
- Must be experienced in highways, tunneling and deep drainage. Ideally large-scale projects.
- Experience of the NEC Contact
- Degree qualified would be preferred
The Role
- Responsible for the resourcing, development and leadership of the team
- Providing management and direction to all design managers
- Production of information required schedules & subsequent ongoing monitoring
- Ensure that the works are undertaken in accordance with all HS&E legislation, and the site Health Safety and Environmental Plans Safety and Environmental Plans
- Ensure materials, plant and sub-contractors are procured at all times to meet targets
- Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule
- Review project plans with Contracts Manager on Monthly basis Liaison with client and end users to ensure a smooth operation at all times
- Report any problems they may occur and any requirements to rectify
- Ensure project documents are complete in accordance with projected time scales.
