CarmichaelUK are looking for a Project Manager with Network Rail experience to work with one of our tier 1 clients based out of an office in Crawley. This is an interim position whilst our client brings somebody in on a permanent basis, meaning that temp to perm is an option with this role. Our client is one of the main contributors to rail work in the South of England across Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London. Works range from vegetation to platform extensions and everything in between. The majority of work on the framework is low value, high volume. Start ASAP with the position running a minimum of 3 months with the potential for longer.
Reporting into the Framework Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering work on time and to budget
- Tendering for new work
- Planning and programming of works across multiple sites
- Liaising with design and commercial teams
- Working closely with Network Rail to ensure works are being carried out within scope
We are looking for someone who:
- Has extensive experience and knowledge of delivering civils work within a rail environment
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Holds a valid PTS card
- Has a full clean driving license and vehicle
