A Tier 1 Main Contractor client of ours who specialise in Construction, Civil Engineering and Facilities Management are currently seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis for 6 months in South Wales.
We are looking for a Project Manager who has an extensive and robust background in fit out and able to see through the whole lifecycle of a project.
Key Duties:
- Design Management
- Financial and Budget control
- Liaison with clients, design teams and other professionals involved in the project to ensure all works are seamlessly integrated
- Previous experience of managing personnel, sub-contractors, and suppliers
- Developing and maintaining the overall project programme
- Project reporting
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents, and plans
- Excellent skills in communication & presentation
- Proficient at using Microsoft Office
- Accountable for all project documentation and the project lifecycle, reporting progress against milestones, changes and budgets
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in 'Fit-out' Project Management preferably in a Government environment however this is not essential
- Running large- and small-scale projects
- Have the ability and understanding to read technical drawings and implement requirements
Professional Qualifications Required:
- Fire Marshal certificate
- First Aid 3-day qualified
- PASMA Card
- CSCS skill card Holder
- Minimum IOSH Health and Safety Certificate
- Ideally NEBOSH Health and Safety Construction Certificate
- Compiling reviewing pre-construction information packs
- CDM Auditing duties
- Asbestos Awareness
- Competent using Microsoft Project
- SMSTS Qualified / Certificate
