A long-term opportunity inside IR35 exists for a Project Manager to successfully deliver medium to large projects within the water sector. Previous delivery experience as a Project Manager for principal contractors is sought after.
Duties will include –
- Managing and leading of the project from inception through the design, procurement, delivery and commission phases.
- Defining the scope of works and leading the constructability process
- Guiding and management of the site delivery team and subcontractors
- Ensuring that all compliances and specifications are met
- Overseeing the commercial viability and spend on the project
- Constant stakeholder management.
- Identify risk and eliminate blockers.
- Ensure Health and safety
Requirements for this post will include –
- Experience as a Project Manager for a principal contractor on similar medium to large projects.
- A good technical understanding of treatment plants
- Proven delivery and construction methodology capability
- Commercially aware with excellent communication and written English skills
- HND/BSc in Civil Engineering
- CSCS, SMSTS, APMP, MICE
- Professional project management accreditation advantageous
