Carmichael are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team delivering the HS2 Project based in Aylesbury.
As a Project Manager for our NEC Civils Contract, you will play a pivotal role in leading the successful delivery of rewilding and ecological restoration on a range of sites from maintenance to monitoring. Your expertise will ensure technical adherence to NEC4 contract conditions, facilitating the restoration of our large-scale rewilding efforts. You will be accountable for programming, logistics management, commercial performance, and client communications, whilst ensuring we meet the highest environmental standards. Your leadership will be critical in fostering a collaborative environment with stakeholders, managing risks, and driving innovative solutions to restore natural habitats and promote biodiversity.
Key priorities of the role will be:
- Delivering landscape management, maintenance, and monitoring to technical specification and in line with programme as per the NEC4 contract conditions
- Cost and schedule performance of assigned work packages
- Working with external QS to manage all commercial aspects of the project
About you
- NEC4 Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a landscape project in a highly regulated industry
- Full lifecycle experience from business case approval, design, execution & handover
- Experience of change control
- Ability to lead and manage delivery of technical programme / projects along the various technical lifecycles, in account of cost and schedule requirements.
- Management of commercial aspects of technical delivery
- Strong communication skills at multiple organisational levels, internally and externally
