Project Manager – Access for All (Stations) Framework
Location: Hemel Hempstead / Euston, London / Hybrid
Our client is recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join their team delivering key station upgrade works under the Access for All (AfA) framework. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile projects that improve accessibility across the UK rail network.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver station projects under the AfA framework, ensuring compliance with Network Rail standards.

Oversee subcontract packages including building & civils, structural steelwork, lifts, and M&E.

Coordinate and manage designers, driving collaboration and effective communication across teams.

Ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high technical standard.

Support temporary works design and coordination, including acting as Temporary Works Coordinator if competent.

Provide strong leadership, working under your own initiative and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Flexibility to work weekends as required to meet programme milestones.
Requirements

Proven rail experience, ideally with knowledge of Access for All (AfA) schemes.

Valid SMSTS, PTS, and CSCS certifications.

Strong background in managing designers and subcontractors.

Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach.

Strong technical knowledge, ability to work under pressure, and sound understanding of temporary works.

CITB Temporary Works Coordinator competency desirable.

Previous CRE (C) experience advantageous but not essential.
