Join a leading team responsible for delivering a major infrastructure programme at Heathrow. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a transformative £700M+ baggage system project within a critical national transport hub. The programme is split into seven tranches, and we are currently seeking an experienced Fire Package Manager to support Tranche 5 delivery.
The Role:
As Fire Package Manager, you will lead the design, installation, commissioning, and handover of the fire systems within a complex and live airport environment. This includes managing supply chain partners, ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld, and promoting innovation in delivery methods.
Key Responsibilities:

Champion health, safety, and wellbeing throughout design and site delivery phases.

Define and track clear objectives for the fire package delivery.

Lead supplier management during design, including commercial and risk oversight.

Develop and implement installation, commissioning, and handover strategies.

Review client deliverables, including baggage system interfaces.

Promote buildability, safety in design, and modern methods of construction.

Provide technical input to high-level control and integration strategies.

Support procurement activities, including scope and budget development.

Coordinate specialist inputs to design and commissioning deliverables.
Required Skills & Experience:

Strong understanding of fire protection systems, controls, and systems integration.

Background in M&E engineering, with focus on fire systems in complex environments.

Previous experience managing subcontractor packages through Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and delivery.

Proven experience within aviation infrastructure projects (preferably live airport environments).

Demonstrated ability to lead teams on high-value, sensitive programmes.

Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
