Project Manager - Civil Engineering

An opportunity has come up for a Project Manager to work with a main Joint Venture on HS2 based in Buckinghamshire. This role will run untuil the middle of 2020 and is a contract position. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position delivering civil engineering contracts.

Description of Activities to be undertaken

  • Planning during pre-construction phase
  • Responsible for specialist work package delivery
  • Co-ordination with JV management
  • Co-ordination and organisation of resources for package
  • Responsibility for Logistics, HSSE, Quality records and Performance reporting.
  • Co-ordination with all relevant teams
  • Weekly meetings, reporting and assist project controls function

Minimum Qualifications Needed for Role

  • BSc level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND.
  • Relevant earthworks, roads and drainage experience
  • Excellent communication, personal planning and interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Excel proficient
