We are a currently recruiting for a leading civil engineering consultancy based in Auckland, specializing in delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee 2-3 projects in the Auckland region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate and manage all phases of project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Client Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, positive relationships.
- Provide regular updates to clients on project status and address any concerns promptly.
- Ensure client requirements and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Financial Oversight:
- Manage project budgets and financial performance.
- Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Approve project expenditures and manage cost control processes.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and oversee quality control measures.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet technical specifications and client requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the civil engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Auckland
