PROJECT MANAGER - HAMPSHIRE - HEAVY CIVILS/INFRASTRUCTURE
I've been asked by my client, a tier-1 contractor, to source a Project Manager for a very interesting project based in Hampshire. The Project Manager will be involved in a large scale major infrastructure/heavy civils project.
Experience working on MOD projects would be of great value to the client.
It is imperative that the ideal candidate has a clear track record of delivering major infrastructure project from end to end.
The candidate will:
- Provides leadership for the construction activities in the Project Teams focussing on HSE and industry best practice. You will also coordinate construction resources between projects in close liaison with the Foreman/Agent
- Manage the performance of subcontractors.
- Make sure that the construction and installation teams are accountable for delivery against schedules and budgets.
- Confirm that the construction/installation activities are carried out in line with HSE Legislation.
- Ensures the Principal Contractor duties are discharged in line with the CDM
- Oversee the temp/perm construction/installation activities are delivered as per agreed quality procedures.
