A large civil engineering contractor that specialise in Highways projects are searching for a Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Due to an increase in workload in the Buckinghamshire area they require a Project Manager with sufficient Highways maintenance/upgrade experience to assist with projects in the area.
You will undertake a varied balance of projects from dual carriageway construction, maintenance, public footway and general upgrades for local authorities across the South-East.
This position would suit a Senior Site Engineer or Sub Agent level individual that has gained management experience and wants to take ownership the full project life-cycle.
Some of your responsibilities would be:
- To design, prepare and programme works for highways and other services
- Maintaining high levels of H&S across all sites
- Providing prompt and accurate updates to clients
- Providing assistance with the team leader
- Ensure budget control and financial management is thorough
- Liaising with greater site team
About you:
- HNC/D or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Sufficient experience within the Highways sector
- Experience within a Sub Agent/Senior Site Engineer role
