An immediate start opportunity exists for a perm Project Manager with extensive Tier one/Principal Contractor experience on major rail projects managing the track, OLE and signalling aspects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a national specialist within the rail sector.
Duties include the following –
- Managing the delivery of the project whilst reporting to the Contracts Manager
- Attend Client and Consultant meetings and offer technical solutions based on experiences gained.
- Ensure the project is constructed efficiently and to the correct specifications.
- Procure materials and subcontractors.
- Ensure H&S is adhered to, and hand back documents are produced
- Monitor and report on progress and costs
- Manage all aspects of the track, OLE and signalling.
Requirements
- Previous similar experience working for a tier one contractor is desired.
- Excellent management and motivational skills
- Exceptional knowledge of railway specifications and standards
- Degree/Diploma in civil engineering or similar
- PTS advantageous
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
