This national piling contractor with a pipeline of projects in the North West, North East, East Midlands and West Midlands seeks to bolster their current workforce by employing an experienced Piling Project Manager. Competency in rotary bored, CFA and mini piles is essential. Both freelance and perm candidates are invited to apply.

 

Duties will include –

  • Planning and managing of the piling project
  • Liaising with the main contractor to ensure the required information, access, working platforms and other resources are correct.
  • Recording any instructions, variations, delays and disruptions to the works
  • Ordering, prioritising and controlling the supply of materials and staff
  • Ensuring the profitability of the projects
  • Ensure Health and safety are adhered to
  • Maintaining and enhance the company image

 

Requirements for this post include –

  • Civil Engineering/Geotechnical qualification
  • Accredited Temporary works Coordinator
  • Appointed Person for lift operations
  • Solid piling experience as gained working for a piling contractor
  • Proven Project Management experience
  • Exposure and an understanding of piling design
  • Ability to motivate and direct teams
  • Excellent communication and relationship building qualities
