An opportunity is available for a Rail Project Manager with extensive experience in the refurbishment and extension of stations including OLE, signalling and coping. This is a permanent role with a company that has developed a strong history contracting to Network rail.
Duties will include

Managing and directing a large team of Engineers to successfully deliver the project

Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the terms of the contract

Extensive interaction with the rail authorities
-
Maintain site records including worksite request and cancellations, CPP and project communication and instructions register
-
Raise Early Warning Notification and Raise Change Requests as per Commercial procedure

Conduct audits and ensure NCR are completed and closed out
-
Attend weekly lookaheads, instigate and manage any other project-based meeting required
Requirements include
-
A good communicator with the ability to instruct and direct staff
-
A good organiser, both of self and others with the ability to think in advance

Experienced in people management and motivation of staff
-
Degree or HNC qualified in Civil Engineering

Extensive experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Agent on a similar project
-
Multi-disciplinary rail experience
-
PTS, SMSTS, and First Aid
-
Commercially aware and astute
