We’re looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of delivering both planned and reactive projects across north west region. You’ll play a key role in building strong relationships with operational teams, supply chain partners, and fostering a collaborative, team-focused environment. This position involves managing the full lifecycle of water projects, from design through to delivery, with responsibility for a portfolio of smaller projects.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
- Oversee projects from start to finish, including design, procurement, assembly, commissioning, and handover.
- Ensure supply chain compliance with framework management plans.
- Drive a strong safety culture, aiming for zero Lost Time Incidents (LTI) and RIDDOR events.
- Maintain a commercial focus, challenging scope and selecting efficient delivery strategies.
- Engage stakeholders at both strategic and operational levels to secure support and manage impacts.
- Provide accurate and consistent reporting of project performance within framework systems.
- Identify and mitigate key project and programme risks early.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary projects (Civils and MEICA), ideally in the water sector.
- A strong track record of delivering project programmes successfully.
- Solid understanding of construction contract law and contract forms through experience and training.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, document control systems, and Primavera software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
