Here we have an exciting opportunity for an experience Project Planner to join a tier one contractor to work on a Nuclear/Defence project. (MUST be able to obtain security clearance)
As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for all planning and schedule management activities within the corporate planning tool ensuring a true representation of the Capital Delivery Programme is established and maintained.
An IR35 assessment can be carried out to determine IR35 status.
About the role -
- You will cover both briefed and unbriefed schemes, from concept and initial studies to full funding and project initiation, to benefits realisation and closure.
- As Project Planner, you will ensure visibility and alignment with the business plan and performance commitments throughout.
- You will also act as an expert adviser, providing support and training to maintain agreed minimum standards and improve the quality of data used for upwards reporting.
- Close cooperation with the Programme Planners in the Programme Management team to ensure alignment of the overall delivery is essential to ensure that any issues can be resolved or escalated as appropriate.
Requirements -
- Extensive Planning experience
- Proficient with Primavera P6
- Nuclear/MOD experience beneficial
