Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to be based on a new rail station project near Milton Keynes.
The project involves a range of civils and building works, through to fit out.
Main duties include:

Contract administration, notification and evaluation of changes,

Developing commercial relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers

Procurement
-
Financial reporting and forecasting

Assessing work order estimates, quotes, target prices and final account settlements
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:

A relevant degree or diploma Quantity Surveying or equivalent

Experience with Civils projects up to £10m in value
-
Excellent understanding about administering contracts
-
Excellent communication skills
Duration of the contract is initially 3 months - with options to extend with temp-to-perm or Permanent.
