I’m currently looking for a PTS Foreman to work on a Major viaduct repair Project in the Buckinghamshire region. Freelance position up to 6 months.
Skills and Experience:
-
Oversee own labour and subcontractors on site and construction of the works to specification and to programme

Ensure that details of the safe systems of work developed are communicated to all who will carry out or may be affected by the operation and that the systems are implemented to achieve Target Zero approach to safety

Ensure that all machinery, plant, equipment, portable tools and electrical systems are properly installed, regularly inspected and maintained in good condition to minimise environmental damage or pollution and safeguard employees Health and Safety and that adequate records are maintained

Assist in the production of Risk Assessments Method Statements

Able to work alone and support the existing team
-
Involved in planning for 4 week look ahead programme and collaborative planning for key activities
Experience:
-
SMSTS/SSSTS
-
3 day First Aid trained
-
PTS
-
CSCS Black card or above
-
Relevant qualification in engineering
-
Civils experience within a rail environment
-
RC and structures works highly beneficial
