An opportunity exists on a rail project in Sheffield for a PTS Site Foreman/Supervisor with soil nailing experience.
Duties will include –
• Daily toolbox talks
• Daily and weekly planning
• Resource planning including materials and equipment.
• Managing and tasking of gangs
• Site administration including site diary, ITPs and timesheets.
• Ensuring all permits are in place.
• Management of the works and solving of technical issues
• Foresee and report possible problems.
• Managing health and safety including the reporting thereof
Requirements for this post include -
• A construction or civil engineering qualification
• Previous continuous experience as a Site Foreman on rail projects for Network rail
• Previous management of soil nailing
• Experience in temporary works
• Temporary works accreditation is advantageous.
• Experience in managing site gangs.
• A quick-thinking problem solver who is commercially aware
• Valid PTS, SMSTS and First Aid
