2021 will see the delivery of many rail projects in the North West, North East and the Humber. Projects will include the refurbishment and extension of platforms, laying of new track, drainage, improving and upgrading of over and underpasses, demolition and construction of many bridges, improving embankments, electrification and signalling.
Regular duties will include
- Setting out of the works
- Producing and implementing method statements and work plans
- Interpreting and implementing of the design
- Management work force and subbies
- Quality control in accordance to specifications
- Services checks (CAT and Genny)
- Compiling asbuilts
- Ordering materials
- Recording progress
- Permit clearances
- Health and Safety compliance
Requirements:
- HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Solid experience gained working for a tier one or principal contractor on rail projects
- Valid PTS
