A long term opportunity exists for an experienced Civil Engineering Quality Engineer on a large reinforced concrete project for a Civil Engineering contractor. Previous experience in the conveying, monitoring and enforcing company QA standards on a construction site is essential.
Your duties will include -
- Responsible for the site quality control and the management system
- Responsible for site audits, test plans and check sheets
- Develop a good relationship with the principle contractor’s QA staff
- Ensure all required test have been completed and recorded
- Compile reports and handover files
The requirement for this project will include –
- Preferably a civil engineering qualification or extensive experience on civil engineering projects
- Solid experience as a QA Engineer on civil engineering/ construction projects
- Have sound knowledge and experience of British Standards and codes for Civil Engineering construction
- Experience managing the recording and flow of documents
- Excellent communication and written skills
