An opportunity exists for a meticulous concrete QA Site Engineer to monitor, inspect and record proceedings during the construction of heavy reinforced concrete structures. This opportunity suits an Engineer with QA experience knowledgeable on concrete, rebar, shuttering and documentation of large concrete pours.
Duties will include:
- Inspection of the works prior to casting
- Identify and raise any defects
- Documenting all aspects of the process
- Inspecting temporary works
- Completing all required administration from beginning to end
- Continuous interaction with the client and Principal Contractor
Responsibilities include
- A Civil Engineering qualification
- Extensive heavy reinforced concrete experience as gained with a tier one UK civil engineering contractor on large projects
- Proven QA experience
- Competent in the recording and documenting of the defects' procedure in accordance to British standards
- Temporary works certification
- A standalone Engineer who is meticulous and pays attention to detail
- Wiling to work on a 10/4/10/4 day/night shift pattern
