An immediate start opportunity exists for a meticulous concrete QA Engineer to monitor, inspect and record proceedings during the construction of heavy reinforced concrete structures.
This opportunity suits a Site Engineer with QA experience or an experienced Quality Engineer.
Previous recent experience on rebar, shuttering and casting of concrete as well as the inspecting and recording of large concrete pours is essential.
Duties will include:
- Inspection of the works prior to casting
- Thermal monitoring
- Raise all required documentation from a QA and controls perspective
- Identify and report any discrepancies and quality issues and follow through
- Snag control
- LTQR compilations
- CEMAR admin
Responsibilities include
- A Civil Engineering qualification or relevant proven experience
- Extensive heavy reinforced concrete experience as gained on large concrete project.
- Proven recent QA experience on large concrete structures
- Competent and meticulous in the recording and documenting with an eye for detail
- Wiling to work on a 10/4/10/4 day/night shift pattern
