A Tier 1 Main Contractor is looking for a QA engineer in the building structures fit out team, working on the final stages of a waste to energy project in North London, including the QA paperwork for each package.
Essential:
- Site Quality Checks
- Managing subcontract fit-out packages (steelwork, architectural metalwork, blockwork, fire protection, envelope, building finishes).
- Chairing subcontractor meetings and driving programme / progress.
- Site quality inspections with subcontractor & Client to sign-off installation checksheets and ensure installation in accordance with ITP & drawings.
- Liaising with designer & Client to resolve site design issues. Drafting & reviewing RAMS, managing works in accordance with H&S docs.
- Identifying and addressing quality issues, maintain progressive assurance information as works progress, and collating record packs & red lines for handover.
