An opportunity exists for an experienced Civil Engineering Quality Engineer who posses extensive heavy civils experience predominantly within reinforced concrete.
Your duties will include -
- Driving and directing the QA Management on the project
- Ensure that the QA system is implemented and maintained
- Develop a good relationship with the principle contractor’s QA staff
- Ensure all required test have been completed and recorded
- Liaise with site staff and laboratory personnel
- Conduct regular audits , manage test plans and check sheets
- Compile handover files
The requirement for this project will include –
- Preferably a civil engineering qualification or extensive experience on civil engineering projects
- Preferably piling experience. Previous piling contractor experience advantageous
- Have sound knowledge and experience of British Standards and codes for Civil Engineering construction
- Experience managing the recording and flow of documents
- CSCS, First aid
