CarmichaelUK are seeking an experienced Quality Manager for work on HS2 at Old Oak Common.
Candidates with previous rail and groundworks / civils experience are highly encouraged to apply.
The work is expected to last 6 Months.
Essential:
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.

- Experience of working in a senior strategic leadership position within a business or on major projects or frameworks.
- Experience of developing and implementation of management systems within highly regulated environments.

- Excellent people management skills and experience of coaching and mentoring.
- Strategic thinker
- At least 10 years Construction experience in a Quality or Assurance role.
- Experience of working in highly regulated environments.
- Full working knowledge of management system standards covering Health and Safety, risk management and business continuity.
- Computer literate.
- Chartered Membership of a relevant professional body

- Set and Manage Budgets appropriately
- Assess business climate change and prepare to meet any new challenges that may arise
Desirable:
- Qualified lead Assessor for ISO 9001 and 14001
- IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.
- CSCS holder
- Construction Experience
- Assist with resolution of any Quality related issues arising and make informed decisions on their resolution.
- Investigations of Major or Complex Quality Issues.
