CarmichaelUK are seeking an Quality Control Inspector to join a tier 1 contractor on the Sellafield project based out of Cheshire on a long term basis.
As Quality Control Inspector you will be involved in helping build a plant that will help with the nuclear waste clean up programme.
The Role:

Promote a Nuclear and Personal Safety Culture

Ensure the quality standards of the joint venture and the client are consistently met and compliant with the specification

Encourage continuous improvements across the project

Promotion and implementation of the Project Quality Management System and company process

Interact with project construction and suppliers in accordance with ITP’s to ensure correct fabrication & installation

Conversant with nuclear fabrication specifications
-
Fluent with material certification review
-
Participate with audit activates both at supplier works on on-site

Timely, effective and concise reporting

Promote a disciplines approach to supplier deliverable approval and concurrent review of life time quality records
About You:
-
Sellafield/nuclear experience working in a QA function or QC function with development into QA via lead audit and CQI membership.

Oversight of subcontractors, compilation and review of lifetime records.

Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and Sellafield CQRM.

Maintenance of package status & progress reporting, raising issued and liaising with the project and client QA/QC team.

CSWIP qualified Welding Inspector 3.1 or 3.2

PCN ll qualified in LPI/MPI/RI/U/T
-
Painting Inspector, Qualified, Iccor level 2 or equivalent

NEBOSH/IOSH/CCNSG Safety Passport training

Understanding and familiarity or working within a team culture and JV
You must hold full UK right to work with British National or Settled Status to be able to achieve correct security clearance for this role.
Rate is Inside IR35 paid PAYE through an umbrella company
