I am looking for a Quality Controls Engineer with heavy civil/ rail experience to join a tier 1 contractor in Cambridgeshire. This is a 12 month+ opportunity for the right candidate and in this role you will be reporting directly to the Quality Manager.
Duties will include the following:
- Help manage and lead on all aspects of Quality Controls
- Provide QC strategies and the process
- Ensure QC deliverable meet project specs
- Create, implement and drive audits
- Establish compatible working relationships with clients and staff
- Set up and lead quality forums
- Oversee supplier ISO audits
Requirements for this post are:
- HNC or higher in an Engineering related field
- Proven experience as a QC Engineer in a similar environment
- Knowledge of materials
- Strong, commercial, planning, interpersonal and communication skills
- UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK
