We are recruiting for an amazing opportunity for a committed and dedicated Site Engineer for one of the most exciting infrastructure projects in the UK. This position is based in Avonmouth and the work will involve experience in RC Structures and strong quality processes. You will be joining a highly skilled project team in which you will learn new skills and utilise your existing engineering abilities.
For this position, your key responsibilities and duties will include:
- Assist the Section Engineer
- Amending and writing method statements and risk assessments
- Help managing the earthworks subcontractors
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Produce ITPs and as builds
- Provides dimensional control for a section of the works
- Undertakes as-built surveys for a section of the works and presents results in format that can be included in project records if required
- Checks dimension design data early, raising technical queries to eliminate delays from insufficient information
- Ensures that appropriate as-built surveys are undertaken, correctly recorded and communicated
- Planning weekly and monthly programmes

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering
- Experience of working in a main contractor environment
- Experience in RC Structures essential
- Strong Quality experience
- Hold a valid CSCS certification
