A long term, inside IR35, opportunity exists for Quality Engineers with experience working in a Nuclear environment.
Duties include -

To review, and endorsed as appropriate, Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans; undertaking associated compliance verification activities as appropriate.

Understand and implement the processes necessary for the provision of timely appropriate Quality support to other Delivery Team departments.

Conduct Quality audits of the site activities and sub-contractor operations on site, and off site as directed, in accordance with the Project Audit Schedule.

Ensure the quality standards of the Project are consistently met, raising the authorised project documentation where this is not the case.
Requirements for this position -
- 5 plus years Nuclear experience working in a QA function or QC function with development into QA via lead audit and CQI membership.
- Oversight of subcontractors, compilation and review of lifetime records. Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and Sellafield CQRM.
- Maintenance of package status & progress reporting, raising issues and liaising with the project and client QA/QC team
- ISO 9001 Lead auditor
- CQI membership
- QC qualifications CSWIP/PCN/ICORR in welding inspection/NDT & Coatings desirable but not essential
- Ability to obtain BPSS is essential
