An immediate start opportunity exists for a competent Quantity on a roads and highways project in London. Previous tier one contractor experience using NEC3/4 contracts is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of highways and major infrastructure projects.
- Preparing and reviewing subcontract packages, procurement schedules and contract administration.
- Producing valuations, forecasts, CVRs and cost reports.
- Managing variations, compensation events and change control processes.
- Supporting project delivery teams to maximise commercial performance.
- Negotiating and agreeing final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
- Ensuring compliance with NEC forms of contract.
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within highways, roads or major civil engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, including NEC3 and NEC4.
- Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor or major civil engineering organisation.
- Track record delivering projects for National Highways, Highways England or major local authority frameworks.
- Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
