Our client is a building and civil engineering contractor, operation across highways, heavy civils, water and marine sectors. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with civil engineering experience on a £6m wash water tank extension project in Chelmsford. The ideal candidate will have a good NEC3 option C knowledge.
This is a temp to perm role.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for:
- Contractual administration of high value project subcontractors;
- Sub-contract management, procurement and negotiation;
- Commercial resolution with Clients of scheme outcomes, including payments;
- Managing projects from award through to final accounts;
- Client and Supply Chain Framework liaison;
Requirements:
- Degree in quantity surveying or equivalent
- Previous experience working on water civil engineering projects
- Good NEC3 option C knowledge
