CarmichaelUK are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work with one of our clients who have picked up work on the Highways England concrete roads framework.
This framework is focused on delivering critical maintenance and upgrade work to road surfaces and structures. Based out of an office in Gravesend, but working from home given the current climate, we are looking for someone to start ASAP and run for approximately 6 months. You will be involved with multiple projects with a high focus on change management and variation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Change management
- Variation
- Cost reporting
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Forecasts
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a BSc in Quantity Surveying or related subject
- Has experience working on highways projects
- Has excellent knowledge of change management and variation
