Specialist Contractor seeks to employ a freelance Quantity Surveyor for an assignment in Glasgow. Previous experience within the structural steel sector and specifically the refurbishment of structural steel elements is sought after.
Duties include the following –
- Carry out estimates, cost control and tracking of work completed.
- Prepare compensation events, claims, variation orders.
- Subcontractor management.
- Produce cost reports.
- Prepare and agree final accounts.
The requirements for this opportunity include –
- Solid principal contractor experience.
- Proficient in the use of the NEC form of contract.
- Experience in pricing, budgets and cost plans
- General procurement experience
- A recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying
