CarmichaelUK are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work with one of our tier 1 clients on 3 stations in West London for the latter stages of the upgrades ahead of the opening of Crossrail at some point next year. You will be working with the site teams across all three projects to deliver strong commercial input in the closing stages of the contracts. We are looking for someone to start ASAP with the position likely to run for up to 6 months.
Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Managing subcontract accounts
- Review of incoming accounts
- Preparation of applications and reports
- Help support the maximisation of commercial functions within the contracts
- Close collaboration with Site Managers and Project Managers to ensure fluidity between teams
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a degree in Quantity Surveying or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card (not essential)
- Has experience working for a main contractor
- Has station experience
