An immediate start opportunity exists for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the refurbishment and reinstatement of a burnt down building project, to completion and hand over.
You’ll be supporting the delivery of the project by ensuring that the cost control, budget tracking, and financial efficiency is maintained.
Your duties will include –
- Budget management and forecasting
- Managing subcontractor packages
- Monitoring project expenditure and producing regular cost reports
- Supporting the project team with contractual and commercial advice
- Ensuring compliance with building contracts and legal standards
- Determining the cost to completion
Requirements for this assignment are
- Proven experience as a stand-alone project Quantity Surveyor on smaller high-profile projects
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
- Excellent attention to detail and financial acumen
- Strong client negotiating skills
- Ability to work independently and on-site
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying
