An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage more than one civil project simultaneously for a professional Survey Office. Form part of the financial and commercial team managing capital and operational costs of this dynamic fast paced office. Duties will include –
- Producing estimates and quotes
- Subcontractor/supply chain procurement and management
- Minimise cost and maximize profit whilst maintaining standards
- Re-measures, variation orders and extension of time claims
- Daily commercial management including monitoring of P/L
- Manage contract documentation
- Monthly invoices and certification
- Final accounts
Requirements include
- Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying
- 5-10 years NEC experience on civil engineering/rail projects
- Commercially astute
- Committed and accountable
- RICS or about to be registered
- CSCS card
