Quantity Surveyor - Civils

My client is now involved with the expansion at Felixstowe Docks.  Contract work available until December on a civils extension, they need a competent Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Within this role as Quantity Surveyor you would be responsible the following;

• Be a valued member of the project management team, reporting and explain the commercial progress to senior project management colleagues.
• Ensuring commercial control of the project
• Ensuring correct contract administration
• Controlling project costs and managing revenue
• Cost and value reporting

• A Degree/HNC in Quantity Surveying
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor
• Proven experience of being Lead Quantity Surveyor within a sub contractor, preferably on a build project at groundworks stage
• Knowledge of Fidic form of contract desired but not essential
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent Communication Skills
