A long term freelance opportunity for an experienced Civils Quantity Surveyor exists on the construction of an industrial factory/plant in Ellesmere Port. NEC capability on heavy reinforced structural projects would be advantageous. The client will also consider any returning to work mothers seeking flexible working conditions and hours.
Commercial management duties will include –
- Reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager
- Evaluating, appointing and managing subcontractors output
- Daily costings and monthly evaluations
- Measurements, variations and certifications
- Identifying and highlighting risks
- Contracts documentation
- Final accounts
Requirements for this post include –
- A Quantity Surveying degree or diploma
- NEC experience on civil engineering projects
- Principle contractor experience
- Commercially astute
- Proven ability to complete project alone
