Carmichael are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor, with experience in the building industry.
Duties will include -
- Preparing subcontract notices & instructions
- Administer subcontract change control procedure
- Monitor and manage subcontract costs
- Provision of quantified schedules of works & BOQ
- Provide accurate and timely CVR reports and forecasts
- Establish & maintain reporting structures, and monitor resources and costs
- Ensure materials and off site services are procured in an efficient manner
- Subcontarct procurement
- Prepare subcontract invitations to tender and evaluate all tender returns
Requirements for this position -
- Quantity Surveying qualification
- 4+ years experience as a QS
- Prior demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Experience within the building/residential industry, espcially the renovation of listed buildings
