Quantity Surveyor ready for that next career step?
We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for a Civils contractor specialising in groundworks and general Civils around power projects. They are a sub-contractor working closely with companies such as ABB and Siemens. My client is looking to grow the Commercial Team hence the need for this hire.
The correct application will have the following knowledge;
- 5-10 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Experience with NEC.
- BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying equivalent
The main duties of the role:
- Subcontractor procurement from enquiry through to negotiation and subcontract order placement.
- Manage subcontractor valuations and payments, through to final account agreement.
- Provide commercial support to the contracts team to effectively deliver projects on time and within budgets ensuring profitability
- Compile and prepare internal valuations and cost reports.
- Compile and agree on client valuations including valuation of variations and final accounts.
- Client liaison and communications.
- Provide support to contracts team to ensure timely production of accurate records and supporting documentation.
