Our client is a building and civil engineering contractor, operation across highways, heavy civils, water and marine sectors with projects up to £100m. They are looking for a Regional Commercial Manager with civil engineering experience, based mainly in their head office in Surrey and managing projects throughout the South of England on highways projects / frameworks.
As a Regional Commercial Manager you will be responsible for:
- Being responsible for controlling the cost throughout the project from conception to completion
- Dealing with cost related enquiries
-Liaising with clients and site management team effectively
- Having a strong understand of contract law
Requirements:
- Degree educated
- Previous experience working on civil engineering projects
- Have experience overseeing a commercial team including Quantity Surveyors of varying levels of experience
- Good NEC3 knowledge
